LENDING & FUNDING

FAF-DC with funds provided by donors as the Government of Albania, IFAD and CEB has managed to successfully fulfill the mission and objectives of these donors in terms of the financial performance and that of impact in the community.
FAF-DC has attained highly efficient and sustainable financial parameters by covering 85% of Albanian territory. FAF-DC is one of the few Non-banking Financial institutions and Banks operating in the mountain areas of Albania. During recent years FAF-DC has developed into an efficient and w e l l - f u n c t i o n i n g financial institution, successfully building up a reasonably sized loan portfolio at a satisfactory risk quality level, thus making a significant contribution
to the economic growth of Albania. The loan portfolio quality is good, highly sustainable and within parameters
settled by the Bank of Albania. During the year 2010 the FAF-DC has provided credit to 1 230 SME-s and individual clients in the mountain areas for an amount totaling ALL 1,017,590,000 (or USD 10 million).
FAF cumulative lending has reached 18,328 borrowers with an amount to over ALL 6,779,270,067. FAF-DC has positive trend during years. By the end of December 2010 total value loan portfolio amount was ALL 1,938,012,972 compared to December 2009 amount ALL 1,539,540,345, it is increased by ALL 398.5 mil. or 25,9 %.
