HUMAN RESOURCES
Our
philosophy is mainly based on
contributing to improve the lives of our
customers by continually increasing the
value of products and services offered
by the human resources, which are the
most important asset of FAF-DC. As such,
they (the Human Resources) are
guaranteed a satisfactory payment
system, working conditions, and
competitive professional
developments/training.
The more FAF-DC
considers the human resources as a
critical issue, the more it is convinced
that it is them that can be able to
develop, maintain and consolidate a
market competitive advantage of the
Company. We compete with values to be
benefited by our customers, to be
exposed by our products and to be
developed by our employees in order to
be competitive in competence, knowledge,
motivation, integrity, trust and
professional developments.
FAF-DC Staff
professional training is realized
through activities, the main of which
being: (a) instructions for newly
recruited professional staff, and (b)
trainings and conferences developed by
international institutions and
microfinance networks, workshops and
exchange visits with microfinancerelated
topics, qualification courses which have
had a significant impact on improving
the performance of FAF-DC staff.
During the
year 2010, about 57 FAF-DC staff members
professionals attended international and
national trainings on: microfinance;
Micro and SME (MSME) financing; customer
relations; procurement and financial
management.
A total of
33 staff members were trained in-country
on FAFDC operational procedures and 30
others on the newlyintroduced banking
software.
FAF-DC
Training programs have had a positive
impact on the level of professionalism
and performance of the staff, thus
influencing very much in meeting the set
objectives and in developing a
successful professional career.
